First of all, our temperatures outside have already been over 100 degrees in July. Me and my "no air conditioner vehicle" would thank the heavens if it does not get any hotter in August.
Next, it's "back to school" month for Carson and Micah. Always a stressful but exciting time when they start a new school year. I am wondering where the summer went. It really flew by for me. Carson is a driver now too.
At work, it is County Fair time. For me, that means finding volunteer Horticulture judges for several fairs, and a lot of other projects. I will also spend some time all alone in the office "holding down the fort" while others are away at our own Utah County Fair. Lucky me. Ha ha.
Once upon a time, when they were little, Carson and Micah were exactly the same height. Carson would get so mad when strangers would ask me if they were twins. He would say "I'm two and a half years older than him!" Well, as fate would have it, they are once again the same height. Carson hit 5' 9" a few months ago, at the age of 16. Over this summer, Micah has grown a remarkable amount of inches to equal his brother at the age of 13. Amazing to me. Here's a little look back...
